Holiday Inn Express & Suites South Portland, an IHG Hotel

We booked this hotel originally because we got a great deal we typically stick to Hyatt. That being said, we were incredibly impressed with this hotel. It has been recently updated, and far exceeds it's competition price wise in my opinion. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was better than any other hotel in this category we've stayed at by a mile. There seemed to be a far more diverse buffet than most hotels offer. We also had a room on the corner of the 4th floor, there was some aviation noise, which we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in South Portland, Maine, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel provided a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and efficient. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast, which offered a variety of options to suit different preferences. It was a great way to start the day. The hotel’s location was also convenient, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. The overall experience at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites South Portland was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful! One of the best up kept hotel I ever stayed at. The rooms were modern, and super clean. The bonus was the complimentary breakfast, offering hot foods. There was a wide variety of different foods and drinks to choose from, I felt like I was at a restaurant. All of the staff were the upmost professional and friendly. This is a hidden gem!

I have stayed at this property over the years and have NEVER been disappointed. I find this hotel's staff to be exceptional. Starting with the front desk; friendly, accommodating, attentive, extremely helpful, and outstanding customer service. Shane Bell the General Manager was extremely helpful to me during this stay when I needed to use the hotel computer to complete time sensitive legal documents to send out of State the same day. Shane helped me and went out of his way insuring I had all the support I needed to complete the action saving me both time and effort. Thank you Shane. This hotel also has an excellent well stocked pantry, next to the front desk, with very reasonable prices. The morning hot breakfast and the breakfast staff is exceptional as well. Opens on time, well stocked, well prepared food, and the staff is visibly present to accommodated you if you have any needs or questions. Finally, the rooms are extremely clean, well stocked with necessities, and there are plenty of staff cleaning the rooms daily and helping with any needs and wants you may have. This is an exceptional property!!!!! I travel extensively nationwide, staying at 5 Star Hotels that do NOT provide the level of service or accommodation that this hotel provides. I strongly recommend you lodge at this hotel for all the above reasons along its convenient location to shopping, restaurants, the Portland Jetport, downtown Portland, and Cape Elizbeth. This property deserves 10 STARS!!!! It is consistent with its customer service and high standards. Thank You for another comfortable visit!!!!
